Okay, works like this.

Install TeamViewer on iPad. Download and install TeamViewer on laptop at home that can access the school account. Then when you are away from home you can use the iPad to access the laptop which in turn well log on to the school account. From what you have said the iPad on it's own will not be able to access the school account.
