Those crafty engineers over at Microsoft have programmed their AI assistant Cortana with a decent sense of humor. If you are one of the folks who decided to try out Cortana on iOS, you can ask her what she thinks of Apple. Her response is comical, yet quite diplomatic. She replied with, "Their new headquarters looks kind of like a Halo. I'm into it."
For those who don't follow any of Microsoft's products, Halo is one of the most popular games ever created and it was exclusive to the Xbox consoles (and PCs). In the sci-fi game, the Halo Installation 4 in the stories is a ring-shaped space station orbiting the Earth like a giant halo. As you can see in the images in the thread below, the Apple Campus 2 does look a little like a ground based version of that.
All we can say is touché Microsoft, touché. Isn't it much better when the big tech companies are not constantly throwing barbs at each other?
