It is Batress Root. These large roots are used to prevent the tree from falling. And the native use it as the drum to communicate with each others in the forest...^^
A fantastic tree csllanna. It reminds me of the huge Moreton Bay Fig Trees which grow around the Adelaide Parklands, a wide strip of parklands encircling the City of Adelaide. (Although it is more natural to Queensland and New South Wales.)

Yes, and they are marvelous, aren't they?
My daughter and I like to do the jungle trekking recently. We often visit the FRIM (Forest Research Institute Malaysia), a place where thousand species of trees/plants have been planted.
We enjoy the fresh air and the canopy walk over there.
