Running a wifi iPad 2. Just updated to the latest iOS...
Suddenly, rented movies cannot be watched without an online connection.
When I try to play them offline, it says they can not be started.
I literally have to find a wifi connection, start the movie, then put it on pause and I can go someplace with no wifi to resume.
But it will not allow me to start, nor to launch the app and resume unless it can get online.
WTF?
Any idea if this is a known bug or a new rental policy, cause if the latter it makes the iPad useless for loading rental content and watching someplace were there's no online connection.
