So I have decided to buy a 13" MacBook Pro for work use (and home, but I'm also buying a 24" desktop from apple).
Now the company runs on windows. I would like to switch. I plan on using my iPad as much as possible for how portable it is. It will do for small adjustments in programs like numbers (excel). Then at the office, my MacBook for the couple hours of data entry and such with office.
So my question.. How reliable is it? Last thing I want is my boss to send me an excel spreadsheet, then apples office program screws things up, I spend time fixing it, then I send him back the revised work, and when he opens on his windows computer, it's screwed up for him.
I prefer using my own computers because I can also use them for other uses as well. And with mobile me, it's a better option to stay connected, between all my devices so I can do my job better and faster.
