Phew, that's a relief (hope you didn't lose anything though) I have always been super careful, and in over decades have only ever been ripped off once, won't mention the company, but a popular auction site.

Actually that is a lie. I had to change my ID/email at iTunes and since then, I have 11 apps I can never update.

Have you contacted Apple to change your Apple ID email, or have you just created a new account?
