My iPad couldn't be dragged with music from iTunes 10

I just bought an iPad 32GB and tried to be synchronise with my music files at iTunes vers. 10 but it can't

I thought the simple way to transfer the music is just drag and drop just like i did with my iPod

Pse let me know how to do this as not all the songs will be put into my iPad

When the iPad is connected to iTunes, select it in the left column, open the music tab and work with the options there to choose the music you want to synchronize.
