Need advice on buying now

I Concur With Cmfox...

Having a 3G iPad is very convenient--not only do I use it for its GPS capability, but it helps me keep connected when wifi is not available. I only subscribe to the 250mg monthly charge of US$14.95. I use an app called download meter that helps me budget my daily 3G usage so I never go over that self induced restriction.

Regarding AT&T coverage, I don't have problems getting service in and about northern Indiana, southern Michigan, and NW Ohio. But where you are located may be a different story.

You may not need 3G if you are just using your iPad at home or at school--assuming you can get on the wifi services at either place. That is what I had thought at first--but since owning this iPad, I find I'm using it every where I go.

I don't understand how people just throw away this money, 3g is just retarded you have a data cap, att sucks and you pay for it. I have a free wifi tether thru my phone ( Sprint EVO 4G )like most smartphones do so there is never a need for 3g version. My sprint bill for everything is maybe 50 dollars a month (just say you work for a major company like ups, aa and you get 25% off your bill) And 64gb's and 32gb is a waste. There are many ways to remote access your files on home pc, dropbox, air video etc.

Well said. I have a 32gb 3g and I think I could have just done fine with a 16gb wifi. HTC evo....is awesome!
