If you’ve been wanting a physical controller for your iPad mini to make it easier to play games on your phone then MacRumors has some great news for you, writing that Wikipad has just announced that it will be releasing an iPad mini version of its Gamevice mobile game controller.

As you can see from the picture, the Gamevice looks very smart indeed, fitting snugly around your trusty iPad mini. The controls will be very familiar to hand-held and console gamers, and include dual-analog sticks, a d-pad, face buttons, shoulder bumpers and triggers.

As far as all-important compatibility is concerned, MacRumors says that the Gamevice is compatible with all iOS games that are currently listed as having controller support, including the likes of Limbo, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and The Walking Dead.

The Wikipad Gamevice controller for iPad mini is due to launch later this year, but you can register your interest at the Gamevice website. http://www.gamevice.com/
