New iOS Hit Game Mad Bullets Gets Over 100, 000 Downloads Over Launch Weekend

Looks like there’s a new smash hit iOS game in town, with Hungarian developer isTom’s old-school arcade shooter Mad Bullets racking up download of more than 100,000 App Store downloads over its launch weekend.

Mad Bullets was also the highest-rated new game in the App Store last week, with nearly 3,000 new ratings, and has now been highlighted by Apple in the US App Store’s Best New Games category.

The old-school gameplay comes straight-shooting out of the arcades, inspired by such lightgun classics as Time Crisis, Point Blank, and Operation Wolf. Simply shoot the bad guys and save the damsels in distress, and you’ve got one rootin’ tootin’ addictive game on your hands!
