MacRumors reports today on more photos that have appeared on the web that are said to be of parts from the forthcoming iPad Air 2.
The photos first appeared on French Apple website iPhonote, and are said to show various parts from the next iPad Air, including a GPS antenna, microphone, and Wi-Fi module.
If genuine, these would be the first iPad Air 2 internal parts to be pictured online, although other photos have leaked previously that were said to show the front panel and back shell casing of the iPad Air 2.
iPhonote also posted comparison photos, showing the various iPad Air 2 components compared to the same component on the original iPad Air. Apparently the only major detail to emerge from these comparisons is the fact that the GPS antenna on the iPad Air 2 is longer than that of the older model.
While Apple has yet to confirm the existence of the iPad Air 2, it is expected to hold a launch event for its latest iPad range sometime this fall, following on from the iPhone 6 launch event on September 9.
