Apple has released a new iPad Pro advert in which it asks “What’s a Computer?’ Positioning the top-of-the range tablet as a fully fledged computer in its own right, the advert showcases that the iPad Pro can do a lot of stuff that a computer can do.
The 30-second advert features not just the iPad Pro itself, but also the Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard, showing how they work together and help to make the iPad Pro just as versatile as a fully fledged PC. The ad spot also highlights some of the iPad Pro’s multitasking features such as Slide Over multitasking and picture-in-picture.
“Just when you think you know what a computer is, you see a keyboard that can just get out of the way,” says the advert. “And a screen you can touch…and even write on. When you see a computer that can do all that, it might just make you wonder hey, what else can it do?”
This is the first iPad Pro advert that Apple has produced since the tablet was announced last November. Thanks to the higher price of the iPad Pro, Apple managed to have its first iPad revenue growth for 10 quarters in the third quarter of 2016, despite overall falling iPad sales.
