New IPad Pro vs Old iPad pro

After Christmas I will have a new iPad Pro (2024) to replace an older version.
Can I ‘freeze’ everything on my older iPad without affecting new contents on new iPad?..ie can I lock email accounts or should I remove them?..how should I manage iCloud?,do I just disable sync?
Any actions I take on new iPad I don’t want to reflect on old iPad…

Hi Nael - more information is needed before specific advice can be offered: 1) Do you want the 'contents' of the old iPad on your new one; are you planning to keep the old one as a 'spare' and if so can it be erased; do you want to setup the new one as a new device or like the older one; and will you be using the same email addresses on your new iPad?
