New owner have some questions

Hello all. Just a new iPad owner and mainly purchased it for our daughter who has special needs. Wanted to take advantage of the ease of use of the iPad and get the most out of it for her. We are in North Carolina and I'm retired Air Force. I hope I can find answers to my questions in here.
