New sceen and on Ipad2 1st gen.

Hi!

My Ipad 2 first generation glass plate is broken, so was wondering if its possible to replace the screen with a Ipad 2 second generation screen to achive higher resolution?

If anyone have some knowledge or experience, I would like to hear from you.

While it is possible to replace the glass, it is not possible to use a higher resolution lcd.

I think he's talking about the screen from the Revision A iPad 2 that was released after the introduction of the iPad 3.

Both versions of the iPad 2 use the same lcd. Only difference is the logic board / daughter board connection. No change in resolution.
