Lots of news on the iPad front today, first with the announcement of a new, 128 GB version of the fourth-gen iPad, and now with the news from BGR that pictures of what is said to be the fifth-gen iPad have leaked online. The pictures are said to be the aluminum housing of the regular-sized iPad 5, and, if they are genuine, they would seem to bear out recent rumours that Apple planned to make the next full-sized iPad more like the iPad mini in terms of its design, having the same black and slate or white and silver colour scheme. BGR says that the case is also said to be thinner than the previous iPad model, although it still has a 9.7-inch display, but with chamfered edges. The pictures were originally published by 9to5 Mac, who received them from sources in China within Apple’s official accessory suppliers, and they certainly look genuine, it has to be said!
