new to ipad my wifes has issues

Hi I am glad to find this Forum. I just bought a 4th gen Ipad for my self and my wife has an Ipad2. I am enjoying getting to learn all about it. My wifes ipad has quit playing Netflix since her latest update and we cant seem to get it running again. it plays fine on mine. any ideas how to get it running again on the ipad2 ?

The Netflix app is compatible with all devices. If it was previously working before, it might just be a cache issue, in which case you can try removing the app, then re-installing it, or if that doesn't work, you can try hard resetting the iPad 2 by pressing and holding both the power/standby button and the home buttons simultaneously, and keep holding them until you see an Apple logo on the screen, then release both. If you hear a camera-clicking sound or if your screen just has a white flash, you slightly mistimed it and took a screen capture instead. It may take several times to get it right as it comes down to proper timing of pressing both buttons at once.

Been playing all evening with my wifes ipad2 trying to get it to play netflix. It seems like it will work on other wifi networks, just not ours. although My ipad4 and 2 laptops work with netflix ok. so it seems like some kind of connection issue that I will need to figure out.

Try resetting your router, if there's no reset tab, just turn it off, wait a few seconds and turn it on again.

If still no joy....go into settings on the iPad, wifi and tap your wifi, then Forget this Network and then set it up again.

Close the Netflix app completely and then relaunch it.

Also see if there are any updates available for your router if still no joy!
 
It appears that my wife and Daughter got it fixed today, it had to do with an American ipaddress for netflix
