can anyone explain to me how to remove permanently ebooks from kindle or amazon purchased on ipad. I have deleted them from my amazon account but cannot get rid of the title on my ipad

In the Kindle app, at the Home screen, press and hold any books you want to delete. A little red X should appear in the upper left corner of the book cover. Press the X and the book will be removed from your iPad.
