Newest iPad3 ?

Hello,

At my age now, want to make sure that I wasn't taken advantage of.

How can I be sure that the iPad I just purchased is the new iPad3 ?

Is there some distinguishing physical characteristic or mark on the case, or... ?

The package sticker has:

Model A 1416
P/N MC705LL/A

BTW: is there some simple way to change one's Password to something simpler on this Forum ? If so, where I do this ?
The numbers and letters I was automatically assigned are impossible for me to remember and manipulate.

Thank you,
B.

Just look at one photo and you should be able to see the brilliant resolution which is only on the 3. I was amazed when I looked at the first one.

To change your password, go to the site and where you see your Username to the right you will see Settings, press this, it will load with all your settings down the left side. Look for the heading My Account and under this you will see Email and Password, press this and then you will be able to change your password to something easier for you. Press Save Changes when you're done.

My model is mc707LL. I keep seeing references to mc707LL/A. What is the /A?
Looks like the only difference to latest (gen4) is the chip and lightening connector, but they no longer have gen3 on their website to compare...
