no rotate screen

On another note, my screen stopped auto rotating and is stuck in one position. Any tips on how I might bump it, or something, to jog it back into auto rotating loke a good little pad should?

You might have accidentally moved the button that locks your screen rotation. If you hold your iPad in landscape with the home button the left, you'll see the little slider button on the bottom right of the iPad next to the volume control. You'll know if you have the screen rotation locked as an icon of a padlock with a curly arrow round it shows up on screen. If that doesn't work, do a reset.
