Numbers query

Can anyone help me please? When inputting words into a spreadsheet using the letters mode in the version of Numbers for iPad2, is it possible to make some of those words bold or in italics (as you can do on MS Excel, for instance) and if so, how please?

When you have your text box selected, then click on the 'i' button and all the text editing options will appear including a whole lot of preset titles.
