Official IOS6 Jailbreak Status Thread

Hard time updating this time, kept getting to the end and giving a corruption error.

In the end I downloaded the correct ios from here

Then, when pressing restore, keep finger on shift key (Windows Users only) and direct it to the ios firmware you have downloaded, its probably just down to heavy use of Apples servers, but hopefully will save a few people scratching there heads thinking they have done something wrong, Ive included a screenshot of my error report below to help anyone with the same trouble

It shouldn't be a link problem since it's directly from Apple's server. Download it using a non-Internet Explorer browser.

I think it was down to a slow connection at my end and a high usage of Apples Servers willerz, by downloading the file to my PC from this sites link, the update took only a few minutes, and it completed without the error. Sometimes the long winded way is the more preferable route!

P.S. Remember - we still don't know when, exactly, the jail break will be released. It could be this Sunday (based on a vague tweak by MuscleNerd). Or - it could be later ... or sooner. The point is - we don't know. So, hang in there, all. We are in the home stretch.

In the website, it says under the requirements that i must have An iPhone, iPad or iPod running iOS 6.0 through 6.1..

What does running through iOS 6.0 through 6.1 means?
