Alan Shepard was the only Mercury Astronaut to land on the moon.

That's right. Gus Grissom died 1967, and the other 4 of the original 7? (Deke Slayton wasn't allowed to fly.)

I know. Most of the time I wait until noon, then I post in this thread. But today I didn't. :-)
In Austria it's already 3:32 in the morning.

Thanks for the reminder too. I went away to listen to American Pie (usually do it in the morning on the anniversary - have it in Calendar)
