Photostream not streaming

Photos taken on the ipad 3 are no longer appearing on the iphone 4s photostream and vice versa.

I have all settings switched on and icloud settings on.

Any help appreciated.

The Camera app has to be closed to let the photos sync to other devices via PhotoStream.
If the battery on one of your iDevices is below 20 %, the photos also won't sync to the other device.

Thanks it is closed on both devices and both fully charged

You're also connected to Wi-Fi, I assume.

Turn off PhotoStream on both devices and on again. Perhaps this will get it syncing again.

I tried that too without success

A few other suggestions:

- Restart your devices
- reset both
- turn Wi-Fi off and on again on both of them
- wait for some time. If there are many photos, PhotoStream will need some a while to sync.
- if the photos don't appear after a while, go to Settings - Wi-Fi, forget the network and set it up again.

Thanks it's now working.

Why would it have stopped streaming ?

It could have been the Wi-Fi, or there were many pictures to sync. In both cases it wouldn't sync, or if so, very slowly.

I'm glad it's working now.

It musthave been the wifi as there were only a couple of photos.
