stuck on apple logo after reset all settings and content on jailbroken ipad 1 on 4.2.1 with GP

I HAVE TRIED TO RESTORE WITH DFU & PWND DFU AND NOTHING WORKS IM TRYING TO UPDATE TO 5.1 AND TETHERED JAILBREAK with redsnow.
caps off now sorry not retyping all that..lol

Try following the steps in this sticky: http://www.ipadforums.net/showthread.php?t=52863

If you follow them exactly as written, you should end up with an iPad on iOS 5.1, all ready to jail brake tethered.
