Possible to Sync interactive CD

Hi
I'm having fun with my new ipad2 and I'm keen to use it to the max for my lifestyle.

I have an interactive CD V3.0 (allows me to select plants for specific areas from lists of thousands) installed on my PC which I'd like to sync to my ipad2 . Is this possible?

I have GoodReader - is this the appropriate ap to use?

any advice?

Cheers

jen

I don't think that will work....

Have you checked to see if there is a compatible app for what you want?
Audubon wildflowers?...From the app store...

thanks for idea. however the plant lists in question are Australian natives - it's a very specific collection. It wd make a terrific ap for Australian users. Not a giant market, I realize.

I should ask is there any likely harm to be done by trying to sync all the CD files from PC to ipad2 using iTunes?

It won't happen since the pc programs are .exe extension, which the ipad can't run.

I started to sync the CD files before I decided to ask advice and now I've got a file open on GoodReader and I can't see any way to remove it.

Hit the 'Manage Files' tab, now select the file(s) you want to delete and you'll see the 'Delete' button option active in the manage files area of the screen.

Hi Tim Thanks for coming in here.

When I touch The GoodReader icon it opens straight into a buff coloured page that has no headings at all and goes into the words

Start up
Configuration
Supported runtime version

Then a page or so of a dos kind of language
I can't see how to get out of it.

Hi again Tim

I should have said that I can't see the manage files page (though I did see it earlier).

OK - then you must be on a page with a 'document' open. If you touch the page (I find sometimes I have to do it a couple of times) a menu bar should open at the top of the page with a left pointing arrow titled 'My Documents'. If you touch that, it should return you to the page where all your documents are stored and then you should be able to see the Manage Documents tab.

Let me know how it goes....

I've sorted it out. I chose a book to download and used the file manager that appeared to delete the unwanted file. whew! You provide a great service.

Great - there's always a work around and half the 'fun' is finding it. Anyway, if computers were easy, I'd be out of a job...:(
