The most glorious sound, as opposed to the cacophonous howl of an in-line 4. Doing this almost daily on an identical bike was my form of meditation.

If you have 10 minutes -

It is far easier to face the future knowing your life is well lived through today, this video helps me remember that

I don't usually post commercials, but this one is funny. This is ScotiaBank's current commercial running on Canadian television.

Well . . . an inline-4 is great, as long as it is this one:

Have to disagree. If I ever take to two wheels again, I want another one of these. This one's the same color as mine was.

And here you thought you would not be wrong today:D. Oh well, to each his own, the old lady said as she kissed the cow.
:D

OK, then how about this?

I've put a very small bit of miles on FJs, comfortable and quick, but have a bit of flex when pushed and the brakes fade pretty fast with hard use and feel wooden. Off the track and on the road you can cross the country on one and make really good time doing it and they all certainly have a classier look than most of the modern bikes out there.

When I was 12, we built a salvaged one and I only weighed about 65 lbs. I had to jump in the air and come down with all my weight THEN kick through to start it up and even then it kicked back often enough to make me wince every time starting it.

Amazing find Bob, thanks - I've never seen one run.

I have.

If you get a chance to see one up close and personal, avail yourself of the opportunity.

There actually were a number of 4's in our history. Some are easy to find but costly and some are really impossible to find which means parts are hard to find.

Learn to love the grease and cuts if you decide old iron is something you want.
