I have Epson iPrint on iPad 3. When I open it I see a page with tabs to choose source of item to print. The photo tab works OK and links to pics on the iPad, but the "saved documents" tab links to an empty folder. How do I get files into this folder for printing. I have several files in the "Documents" folder when I open Pages, including some Word documents, but they are not in this saved docs folder.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

I don't have the Pages app but I see by the app in the App Store that it has the option to 'open in another app' which will allow you to send your files to Dropbox. You can then access these files in Dropbox to print. Hope that helps!

Pages was not the issue .. it is Epson iPrint. This has 5 options for source; One is Online storage, which includes Dropbox, and another is "Saved Documents" which is an empty folder. My question is how to get things into this folder so that I can print them directly.

From my experience, Saved Documents are only items you have used the app to scan from the scanner (if you have a scanner/printer all in one). After scanning, it asks for a file name and type, ie. PDF and saves to that location.

It is better to use online storage options to bring your files in for printing, or from another app, use the Open In... feature to sent to Epson iPrint for printing. The original remains in the other app.
