Things may have gone quiet recently on the prospect of the long-awaited arrival of console and PC game Prison Architect on iPad, but Touch Arcade reports that the developers have not given up on the idea, so neither should fans of the game.
According to Touch Arcade, the game’s developers, Introversion Software, have sent out an e-mail today along with the final Prison Architect update, in which they say that they are still working on a tablet version of the game, and they’ll reveal more about it soon.
Prison Architect was inspired by games such as Dungeon Keeper, Dwarf Fortress, and Theme Hospital. Gameplay involves building and managing a maximum security prison that is designed to hold the most hardened of criminals. Along the way you’ll have to cope with lots of crises, including fire and rioting, as well as handling demolition and construction at the prison. Sounds like just the sort of fun we need in an iPad game!
