Problem with imessage - number is not registered

Hi
I can't use iMessage at all
Any number that I put it writes that the number is not registered
I'm using iPad 2
Any ideas?

iMessage only connects to other iDevices running iOS 5 with iMessage enabled, it won't text to a normal phone. It's not designed to text to normal mobile phone numbers.

Many users spk about that in a case that u try to send MSG to someone that is not registered it will send as an SMS is it not the case with iPad?

Not from an iPad no, it's not designed to send SMS like a normal mobile phone.
