There's been a lot of talk recently surrounding Sony's upcoming biopic of Steve Jobs, as there have been mainly problems with the cast. But that has been established and we know that Michael Fassbender will be playing the role of Steve Jobs, along with stars Jeff Daniels, Seth Rogen, and Kate Winslet. The movie is being directed by Danny Boyle.
Now, a set of newly leaked set photos reveal some of what the director is currently filming at the San Francisco Opera House. HoodLine reports that film crews were spotted at the San Francisco Opera House. Also, recently, hundreds of extras were hired to take part in a scene.
What you're seeing above is a poster hung on one of the walls in the Opera House which depicts Michael Fassbender as Jobs, posing with the NeXT Computer (referred to as "The Cube"). As you might remember, NeXT was founded by Jobs after he was forced out of Apple in the mid-80s. This could mean that that the Opera House shoot will involve the computer's 1988 unveiling.
At the time, Steve Jobs' NeXT event was a big gala and it marked the first time Jobs had appeared in public in many years. Another leaked photo is depicting Fassbender wearing a simple white button down shirt and dress pants, clothing which Jobs often sported during his NeXT years.
