Question-question game

My paternal grandfather, who started many businesses, had many adventures, was generous with time and money to those more needy, was game for anything his whole life, always had a ready laugh, and who had lady friends calling him well into his 90s.

My question: If you could invite six people to dinner from any period in history (up till the present day), which six people would you invite?

Abe Lincoln, Lester Flatt, Pat Pending (The world's most prolific inventor) Martha Stewart, Carmen Miranda, and Lenny Bruce

Not as long as you can show native ethnicity, and that takes a unicorn DNA strand test. Boy is that gonna hurt. Good luck, Bob.

Question for someone who isn't Bob:

What was your first word spoken as a child?

"Why can't Bob answer?"

Posted by Carmen Miranda, from one of Bob's iPads . . . the one wearing a fruit basket on its little iHead.

"The Physics of N-Guanidine p-Negative Phosphors with Negative Iambic Polarities in Dark Matter Regions of Folded N-Space Mobius Quadrangles."

Or, "The Little Engine That Could, Until the ICS Changed Rail Transportation Regulations Requiring the Little Engine to Purchase Yet Another Rail Transit Permit he Could not Afford, So the Little Engine Took His Own Life Leaving Three Little Engines To Live on Government Handouts and Food Stamps that Could Not Be Used To Purchase Oil So they Took their Own Lives, too. By Lincoln Brasher, Dutton, 1956.

A sad tale of a government gone wild.

Oh, I also loved the Girls Gone Wild Coloring Book.

Where do you think the conversation might lead?

Movie reviews, most likely. Neils was none too bright, so the "talkies" would have frightened him a plenty. Either that or they would discuss if Abe should fight to allow people in the Roman empire to wear peals. As you know, the poor were not allowed to wear pearls.

Ummm Bob....as much as I love reading your pearls of wisdom, we need to stay on topic here........... Yes we do!

So we will take it from J.A.'s question

What would you like to receive as a birthday gift?

I'd like the next mini iPad NOW, lol.

Actually, I don't care about gifts, because I prefer to buy exactly what I want. Luckily, my husband and I are both like that.

Next question: What did you want to be when you grew up?

Older.

What is your best childhood memory?

Older.

What is your best childhood memory?

Hanging out with my family, but the memories are blended together. I just remember everyone crammed into too-small spaces, because there were so many of us, lots of laughter and food.

If you had to give up one of your five senses, which one would you give up?

Bob, don't force us to read you the Carmen Miranda warning...

My sense of smell!

If you were to do it all over again, what profession would you want to be in?

Skimonkey ~~ sent from my iPad using iPF

I wouldn't change. I love my profession.

When was the last time you laughed?

Just earlier today. My husband makes me laugh all the time. He is so goofy funny, lovable. I can't imagine being with anyone who didn't make me laugh, especially for decades!

What would you consider the no. 1 quality in a friend?
