Hello,
Last week, my iPad required a passcode randomly while in use. Below is the scenario:
*iPad was asleep but playing Pandora
*went to wake up iPad to change the station
>passcode required
History:
*I enabled the passcode about 6 months ago while my wife took the iPad to travel for business
*tried this passcode but it did not work
*I tried all the possibilities and they did not work
>iPad eventually locked my out and did a system reboot so i had to start from scratch. unfortunately, the last iCloud back up was done in October.
My brother is an SQA engineer for Apple and he indicated that he's never heard of this issue either.
Thoughts?
I'm not opposed to some sort of user error but I was the only one using the iPad in the 3 days that we were in the hospital as my wife was unable to.
Thanks in advance for your input.
Thanks,
Chris
