Let's see if someone can help me. I have an iPad 1 that I use exclusively for reading. From one day to the next it gives me a constant reboot loop every 5 minutes. I've been reading that it's a problem with the operating system and I'm going to try resetting it and loading the saved backup. I use it exclusively for reading and I have 1440 books on iTunes 12.5 that I use for synchronization since it is the last one that had a book library. On my iPad 1 there is the Ibook 3.1.3 with its organization in shelves that allow you to see the books with their covers, and that once read went to another shelf that I named "Read Books". Since I don't know if I can recover it by resetting the system, I'm thinking of buying an iPad Pro and restoring the backup copy of my iPad 1, but... Apple has replaced the Ibook 3.1.3 with the Apple Books, which does not have the possibility of see the books on shelves like in the Ibook 3.1.3 and from what I have seen it is a bit chaotic for those of us who like to have our library perfectly organized.
Is there a way to have the old Ibook 3.1.3 on the Ipad Pro?
When I restore the backup from my iPad 1 to the iPad Pro, will the books be copied directly to Apple Books?
