EA’s version of the classic board game Risk has today been released to the App Store. The original game of strategic conquest is now presented in gorgeous HD on your iPad, to enable you to pursue world domination at your leisure.
Exclusive iPad features include an interactive board game experience where you can gather up to six players around your iPad, all-new HD visuals, and a new “Fixed†rule set where you can take on your enemies with a challenging new style of play.
The Official iPad version of Risk offers three different ways to play, all for up to six players: against the computer, against your friends, and head-to-head bout via local Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
Overall, it appears to be very much a faithful representation of the traditional Risk board game, albeit with added special touches such as the gorgeous graphics, plus special effects and sounds, such as the dice-roll effect and battle sound effects, which you certainly wouldn’t be getting in the board game.
