BGR has word of a very exciting Pokémon Go update that is rumoured to be on the way this December. According to GameGuide, a massive Pokémon Go update due next month will include not just the long-awaited introduction of Generation 2 Pokémon, including baby Pokémon such as Cleffa, Igglybuff, and Pichu, but also other fan-requested features such as Pokémon trading, and PvP battles.
The same source for this rumour also says that Niantic is set to unleash a legendary Pokémon in December, with the mighty Tyranitar being mentioned specifically. The source makes no mention of the Nearby tracking feature that Niantic is currently testing in certain select regions in the US, and which is most likely still some way off being released on a wider scale. And fans are still awaiting the release of legendary Gen 1 Pokémon, which are not available in the current game, and Ditto, which Niantic has said is in the current game, but hidden.
