Tonight is the Worldcon Masquerade. People have been lined up for over an hour already. The Masquerade starts in just over 45 minutes from now.

In last night's episode of 4 Rooms (Channel 4) a seller was looking for £15k for an original Dalek. IMO he was being greedy. The dealers agreed with me.
Needless to say it wasn't sold.

Thanks, Andrew. The convention was a lot of fun for 5 days and now it's over for another year.
Next year the convention is in London, England and will be called Loncon3.

For my money, one of Ms. Crispin's remarkable accomplishments, was adapting the last screenplay in the A L I E N movie franchise 'Resurrection' for novelization.
Stories 1 thru 3 were adapted by Alan Dean Foster. They have very different writing styles and the A L I E N story arc was horribly muddied by the 3rd movie because of
endless studio re-writes. 'Resurrection', the fourth film, was a Joss Whedon script and as much as I like his work he didn't do the screenplay justice. But Ann Crispin made up for everything with her story treatment in the novelization.
