Screen is locked and will not accept pass code

I usd my IPAD2, this evening and it was fine, everything worked.
2 hours later, attempted to use it, the screen lock does not work.
The stupid voice in the unit says my pass code out loud but does not fill in the numbers to open unit up for use.

I am locked out of my IPAD2.

What do I do? The unit has been turned off and have also softbooted IPAD2.
What's next??? VERY frustrated!!!

you have activated the voice action.. to de-activate it double or tripple click the home button.. it will turn it off and then it all will work again. Good luck
