Send email with a pdf from iBooks not working

I try to send a pdf by email from iBooks but not always works.

in some cases it takes long time. In others, the mail never apears in my Inbox

ideas? Its a problem of a file weight?

It could be a combination of the file size and the Internet connection. An Internet connection that's too slow could cause the email attempt to fail.
