MacRumors reports that 2K Games has announced today that Civilization Revolution 2 has arrived in the App Store for iOS. As with the previous iOS game, and countless other versions before on Mac, PC and console, CR2 sees the player take on the power-hungry role of a popular ruler who leads their civilization through history, and involves both strategic and battle elements.
Here are some of the game’s key features, courtesy of 2K:

- New Technology – race to science supremacy with new technology such as: Lasers, Modern Medicine and Information Technology

MacRumors says that CR2 is the first of the Civilization Revolution games to be made exclusively for mobile, with the first Civilization Revolution also appearing on consoles.
