EA Games has published new screenshots and details about the forthcoming HD iPad version of SimCity Deluxe, which is on its way to your iPad this November. The iPhone game has been completely upgraded for the bespoke iPad version, complete with immersive HD graphics, a bigger interactive display, and more responsive touch controls. New iPad exclusive features include textured terrain and animated water, customisable features, including drag-and-drop HUD button placement, and deeper gameplay, including simultaneous disaster strikes. Yes, it wouldn’t be a SimCity game without all those natural disasters that tend to come along just when your city is booming and all is right with the world, and in SimCity Deluxe for iPad, disasters can strike any time and in bunches! Each season has its own catastrophes, and you can also look forward to random meteor strikes and the occasional alien invasion.
Gameplay includes up to 7 multifaceted scenarios, from staging a glorious World Games to coping with a scorching heat wave, and there are also 7 starter cities inspired by world famous locations that you can choose to remake to your own liking.
