Single color wallpaper with no color gradiation

I'd like to make a single color wallpaper without the color tinting darker to black at the bottom of the screen. I have a single color photo that I can get to work as my wallpaper, but really dislike the black being added to it. Is it possible to change this without jailbreaking my iPad? I'm looking for something simple in the settings, but no luck. Thanks for any thoughts.

Unfortunately, no, you can't change it - not without jail breaking. Sorry.

Hi Marilyn- sorry to be so long in thanking you for your reply. I was away from my computer for a bit. Thanks for your response. An annoying thing to not be able to change! Still love my iPad though. :^)
