Sonic Jump Fever Out Now

Sega has today announced the arrival of the ever-loveable blue hedgehog in the App Store with Sonic Jump Fever. The free-to-download game is based on the 2012 game, Sonic Jump, with the sequel shifting the focus to score-attack gameplay and competition with your friends.

“Sonic Jump Fever adds the perfect mix of competition and urgency to the already fun formula ofSonic Jump,” said Chris Southall, Hardlight Studio Director. “Sonic games have always given players a chance to tackle levels a little bit faster, and better each time – grabbing that one extra ring to improve their score. Now, it’s not just their own personal best they’ll be competing against, but all of their friends’ as well.”

Gameplay involves competing for high scores in quick vertical challenges. Aim to pull off huge combos, equip boosters, and use special character abilities playing as Sonic, Knuckles, and lots of your other favourite Sonic characters.

Chao are also featured in the game, with the player being able to find and befriend a variety of different Chao to help you rack up even bigger scores.

Sega says that following the game’s release, fans can also expect more special missions, in-game events, and more announcements.
