My splash top remote works when I'm in my office, which doesn't help me because I want to access it from other locations. Why can't I get it to access my mac when I'm away from the office?

Is your mac *at* your office? You need to configure a way to access the program when you're not on your Local Area Network. The easiest way is to use Internet Discovery with a gmail account.

The automatic remote discovery feature in Splashtop only works for PCs at the moment. The developers are working on a Mac app and hope to have it ready soon. For the moment, to be able to access your Mac remotely, you'd need to be familiar with techniques such as 'port forwarding'. If you're happy to give that a go, then I'm sure Members will help (there are several threads already on the issue) but, if you'd prefer not to have to do this, then you'll need to wait a little while until the new Mac app (free) is available.
