MCVUK has news today that another Star Wars game is coming soon to iOS. Entitled Star Wars: Galactic Defense, the game has been developed by DeNA, Disney Interactive and Lucasfilm, and is a free-to-play tower-defense game set in the Star Wars universe.
Mixing traditional tower defense gameplay with iconic characters from the Star Wars universe, and a combination of action and strategy, this sounds like a Star Wars fan’s dream!
Players must choose to play on the Light Side or the Dark Side, with Hans, Luke, Leia, and Yoda, among others, on the former, and Darth Vader, Darth Maul, and the Emperor and others representing the Dark Side.
Once the game is released, players can unlock new characters, such as the aforementioned Darth Maul, by completing in-game bonus missions and earning points. However, if you pre-register at the official website you’ll instantly earn 10 points to go towards unlocking your first extra character.
