Student input on how to teach with the iPad

The iPads to me are way more useful than reading out of a normal boring textbook. When highlighting key, important words or phrases, it's much more neater than a actual highlighter or underlining in pen. RG4

I think reading on the iPad makes it easier for me to concentrate and so therefore I get more out of the reading which is good. I also really like the feature where we can instantly find the definition to a word. WP

I also like the highlighter feature that's available.

When you are reading in iBooks, you might find it beneficial to use the night theme. This gives you white text on a black background, and I've found it a lot easier on the eyes.

The app that we used yesterday in class was very useful. I really like that we can see what everyone else's work looks like. It makes learning more fun and a lot easier.

Hi, can you specify which app you used in the class in which you can see what others are doing? Thanks.

Apple just released a new configuration tool that is specializes in business and Education. I've seen some articles on a couple of Mac news sites and I think it could be really useful. Oh and maybe you could check out the iBooks Author, for creating your own interactive iBooks.

Please say the name of the apps when you comment on them. Others will find this more useful.

Do you mean the white on black setting? I'm not familiar with the night theme.

Selecting the night theme works better than the old workaround of triple tapping to invoke inverse video. You'll find it a lot more comfortable.

It's available in the settings of iBooks.

Here's how to find the night theme.
