See, so you do know what you are doing. You just need to trust yourself.

So, get into DFU mode, connect to iTunes, and restore. That will put a clean fresh 4.3.2 on there for you.

Then, once you have it restored, you probably want to also restore your backup, so when iTunes says, do you want to "set up as new" or "restore from a previous backup", pick the second one if you want your settings back...

Then, once that is complete, sync. That whole process will probably take you a good hour or two (depending on how much content you have on your iPad)

The good news is that once that is finished it will probably only take 10 mins to do an untethered redsn0w jailbreak as you are such an expert now!

No, you missed DFU mode if you see the Apple logo without pressing the restore button in iTunes.

Keep the iPad connected to iTunes and try again to get into DFU mode. It will stay blank until shortly after you press the "restore" key in iTunes...

You can? I should upgrade first and JB before? Because I am tethered. Oh wait I think I am untethered. Oh hell ~ I'm confusing myself.

I personally would update just to get untethered. But, you don't have to.


Go to Cydia and search for and download "springtomize".
Then after you respiring, go to settings, and scroll down on the left to springtomize. It will be under "extensions", like where activator is.
Tap general, then slide the top slider to "on".
Then go back to the main springtomize page by either tapping springtomize arrow in the top left or tap springtomize on the left under extensions.
Tap icons, and about halfway down slide the slider next to "use custom number" to on.
Then, right below that tap on "icons per line" and select the number you want.
Go back to the main springtomize page like number 4.
tap "respiring" in the top left.
After respiring, your icons will be awesome!
