What do you mean by repsring? If I don't know what that is I'm thinking I didn't do it...

Restarting the Springboard (home menu). when your iPad is locked and then unlock it the Springboard is not restarted though. It's kinda like killing the Dock in OSX. This is required to make Cydia apps icon show up. Also did you know it's possible to program iOS apps on the iDevice itself? (jailbreak required).
