With the release of iOS 8, Apple also announced that it is bringing support for third-party keyboards, as well. And now to further prove its love for this kind of apps, Apple has picked Swype, one of the most popular keyboard apps, as its App of the Week, which means you can download it for free for a limited period.
Swype is normally priced at $0.99, but you can get it now completely for free. Swype allows iPhone and iPad users to input words faster and easier and it also earns the way you type, getting smarter as you use it more often.
The app comes with support for 21 languages and has intelligent Emoji support in 6 languages - (English (US), English (UK), French, Italian, German and Spanish). It has been recently updated with an improved iPad layout, so you don't need to wire - it will scale up just fine.
It comes with a customizable keyboard layout (QWERTY, QWERTZ, AZERTY) and you can also enable the sound on Keypress. The app also has five different themes, so you can further personalized how it looks on your iDevice.
