I’m unable to sync apps from ITunes (on my PC) to my IPad
I went to the ITunes store, and “purchased†Yellow Pages, a free app with a yellow background and “let your fingers do the walking†symbol. It appears in the right pane of ITunes under Iphone, ITouch, and IPad Apps, but is not seen on my IPad. I'm assuming it should be a separate icon.
The computer recognizes my IPad, since I see it in My Computer in the folder tree.
When I start my PC (a Dell 5160 laptop), ITunes automatically starts, followed by Syncing “Jim Hill’s IPad†in the upper part of the screen. There are five possible steps, but currently not all the steps are completed. Last time, it went to step 3, Prepare. Maybe ITunes thinks this app is sync’d.
The IPad is listed under Devices, and my IPad software is up to date.
I'm assuming I have an IPad 2, since it was purchased in December, 2011.
Thanks, Jim
